Thursday, April 3, was the launch of the cross-border film "Grand Age Cap Métiers" (in which the school participated) on professions in the silver economy and more specifically on professions linked to helping the dependent elderly.
This film was produced in tri-language with the help of high schools, training structures and companies on both sides of the border, opening up a new field of reflection at the level of decision-making bodies for the implementation of training. local cross-border with possible recognition of diplomas. Video clips on the trades and flyers in tri-languages are also available on the site. Congratulations to the superb performances of Mlle Aguirre from T ATMFC and Mme Ducarme. This film aims to serve as a support for the promotion of these professions which are not about to disappear with a 10% increase in the elderly population in the next 10 years (currently 23% on the Basque Coast). Cap Métiers and AROFE will be part of the promotion network with middle and high schools but also with information points for adults (EMA). They are copyright free and can be used as a promotion. It should be noted that tomorrow a cross-border employment forum will be held in Hendaye for the bay of Txingudi (Irun, Hondarribia, Hendaye) with, for example, around fifty positions to be filled immediately as "nursing assistants". 50 local companies will be present to look for future collaborators. A POCTEFA called "KOMPAR" has been in place for several years, led by the Etcharry and Cambo training centers in particular. Quarterly cross-border meetings take place and exchanges of continuing education trainees take place regularly. To see the film: https://www.hendaye.fr/fr/hend
